WATER WHERE THE WORK HAPPENS.

Waterlines, Hydrants
& Livestock Waterers

Your water source is only the beginning. Behrends installs the lines, hydrants, and livestock waterers that bring dependable water to the places your property needs it.

FOR HOMES, ACREAGES, FARMS & LIVESTOCK

Put water
within reach.

A yard hydrant near the barn. A waterline to a new outbuilding. A livestock waterer where your animals gather. The right setup can make everyday work easier and help your property function the way you need it to.

We plan waterline, hydrant, and livestock waterer installation around your existing water supply, the distance to each connection, and the way you use the property. Each part needs to work with the system that feeds it.

Waterline Installation

Bring water from an existing supply to new points of use. We review the route, demand, connections, and trenching needs before installation.

Hydrant Installation

Add a convenient outdoor water connection for chores, gardens, barns, and other everyday uses. Location and installation details are planned around the site.

Livestock Waterers

Install a watering point that fits your livestock operation. Animal demand, refill capacity, location, and seasonal needs all shape the right setup.

What to expect when you work with Behrends.

Understand the Demand

We start with what the system will serve: a household, barn, pasture, livestock group, or several points of use. We also consider the water supply already available.

Plan the Connections

The route, line sizing, equipment choice, and freeze-protection needs are reviewed together. Trenching and any power requirements are discussed as part of the project.

Install & Walk Through

We complete the agreed installation and explain how to operate and care for the equipment. You will understand the setup and the seasonal attention it may need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you add a hydrant to my existing well system?

In many cases, yes. We first review the available supply, the existing system, and the distance to the proposed hydrant location.

Can you install waterers for cattle or other livestock?

Yes. Tell us about the animals, the number of watering locations, and how the area is used. We can discuss an installation suited to your operation.

Will the installation work through Nebraska winters?

Winter use needs to be considered from the start. The waterline depth, drainage, equipment design, and any heat or power needs depend on the site and the selected equipment. We will explain the seasonal requirements.

Can trenching be included?

Yes. We provide trenching and backhoe service for water projects and can discuss the excavation required as part of your installation.

What if the water source is far from electrical service?

We can discuss options for remote watering locations, including whether a solar water system is a practical fit for your property.
